We are an organization
working to unite all women motorcycle enthusiasts for recreation, education,
mutual support, recognition, and to promote a positive image of motorcycling.
We meet one or two times a month (the second ride is a spring/summer/fall only
ride):
- Our monthly meeting is the 3rd
Tuesday of each month at the Rosie's Country Kitchen, 6233 Auburn Blvd, Citrus Heights
at 6:30 PM See map on front page for directions/phone
number.
These are the basic
rules for riding on a Women on Wheels ride:
- No Drugs or alcohol will be
permitted on ride days. If when we stop for lunch, one feels the need to
partake they will be asked to remove themselves from the group. No other
member will accompany them on the ride back. This is for the safety of all
concerned.
- If you are going to separate from
the group, for any reason, please let someone know. We want to be sure all
arrive back home safely. If someone separates from the group, it's of
great concern that something happened to them.
- We will be asking our more junior
riders to be in the back of the pack. If you feel you fit into this
category, please place yourself there.
- Men can ride as support members to
full members (women). There are lots of ladies out there that have
husbands, S.O.'s, or boyfriends that like to ride too. They are welcome to
attend as support members to a full member. Kids are welcome too.
- We have no dues at the local club
level. If you are riding with our group however, you need to join the
national Women on Wheels organization. We can provide an application or
you can go to the national organization we site, www.womenonwheels.org
